5 Beautiful Pools to Take Inspiration From

At Deep End Pools we’re always looking for inspiration and we never stop learning about our industry. Since 1999 when we started the company, things have changed a lot but we’re proud to say we’re still at the cutting edge and we maintain an undisputable talent for exceeding our clients expectations.

Here are 5 of our Top Swimming Pools in the UK and why we like them.

Number 1.

This gorgeous outdoor pool at Beaverbrook Hotel, has a most leisurely vibe which may have something to do with the fact it is surrounded by 470 acres of manicured gardens and wild woodland.

As much as we love it, finishing a pool with a thin layer of stone edgings before real grass for a regularly used swimming pool is not recommended unless you employ the services of a skilled garden maintenance firm. The combination of water from the pool and frequent foot traffic could lead to a fair amount of mud.

Luckily Beaverbrook where well aware of this and used a high quality synthetic turf instead! Some fake grass solutions these days, in our opinion, look better than the real deal and there are no drawbacks. It's something we use quite regularly with our outdoor and even indoor pool installations now.

Number 2.

At 60 ft, it's big enough for practicing your front-crawl and perfect for cooling plunges between bouts of sunshine.

Natural pools have been gaining popularity over the last few years as a cheaper and more environmentally alternative to a chemically treated pool but frog spawn in between your toes is not something we specialise in here at Deep End Pools.

At first glance it’s the not so commonly encountered Green tinge to the water that intrigues you and then the pretty flowers and plants growing out of the water that really impress!

Number 3.

This outdoor pool boasts some incredible architectural considerations. The stonework, the glass barriers and the perfectly positioned greenery help to enhance the all round experience. It's definitely something that was put together with a decent sized budget!

Reminds us of when we constructed the pool for Channel 4’s Big Brother. That was a groundbreaking design and a real honour for the team.

Number 4.
A 16 meter hydro-pool with more than meets the eye - which is plenty!

This pool will take the relaxing feeling often associated with a dip to a new level with neck jets and underwater loungers!

Not only that but the combination of the wood-effect tiling for the swimming pool surround, the stylish and clearly comfortable furniture, the intricate stone/slate walls and the mountainous backdrop altogether is simply majestic.

We have installed some similar pool surround tiles recently for an undisclosed project in Beaconsfield and we’re happy to report, the client loved them as much as us.

Number 5.
Indoor pool or Outdoor, we’re not sure but one thing it is, is stunning!

The craftsmanship involved in a pool build like this one is to be reckoned with. Just imagine the logistics of constructing a bespoke pool on the seventh floor of a hotel, right in the heart of Manchester. Hats off to them for maintaining such a panoramic view of the city.

A rooftop infinity pool - not quite big enough to do your morning lengths, but perfect for an afternoon dip after a day of shopping and exploring.
