Wettest November on Record

November 2009 was Britain’s wettest November that we have ever had. The average rain fall for the month being 217.4 mm which is almost 100mm over the national average for a month’s rainfall.

All of this rain means that drained down swimming pools will have been considerably topped up. The fresh rainfall will of all introduced fresh algae and contaminents to the water. These could lead to pea green swimming pools if left un treated for any length of time.
