You will get to see the worlds finest skiers compete in Canada’s premier Skiing event of the year.

The Lake Louise Alpine Ski World Cup is one of the select few that hold both the men’s and ladies speed events on the World Cup circuit and will play host to the first Jacuzzi Sponsored FIS Ski World Cup downhill and super-G races of the season – five in all.  This is the only event of its kind in Canada and is broadcasted globally to 173 million viewers.

Unfortunately Race Director, Hannes Trinkl and Men’s Chief of Race, Darrell MacLachlan have reviewed all possible scenarios but ultimately determined that weather conditions prevented the ability to prepare the race track to World Cup requirements leaving no other option than to cancel the scheduled Jacuzzi FIS Ski World Cup downhill and super-G races.

There is still lots of racing for all to see that should make for a world class event!
